Maib continues the ongoing series of important transformations both externally - by developing new functionality in banking, simplifying processes for a better customer experience, and internally - by creating better working conditions for maib people, launching the Cultural Code, aligning with brand values and developing new maib WoW (WoW for way of working) opportunities and styles.

In this regard and, in order to give maib people more flexibility, freedom and space for creativity we announce a new initiative implemented in maib - a flexible, hybrid-working schedule in certain areas. Thus, starting in November, bank employees have had the opportunity to work in the mixed working regime two days a week to create, inspire, and simplify their work.

Svetlana Bodaci, HR Director at maib:

"We are aware of the importance of the work-life balance for the well-being of our employees. By implementing hybrid working, we aim to allow maib people to choose, adapting to new realities and ensure that we have developed the needed skills to do the job successfully, regardless of location. We are confident that this initiative will continue strengthening maib's position as a top employer and help retain and attract the best talents in Moldova."

Hybrid work is optional, not compulsory, and all job positions are eligible for hybrid work, except those involving direct interaction with bank customers providing direct support to employees through face-to-face paperwork or shift work. These roles will continue to work exclusively from the office.

Moreover, the hybrid way of working is a new international trend and maib people are encouraged to embrace it to become more proactive and creative in achieving goals. This initiative will contribute to the well-being and productivity of our employees, as well as allow us to retain and attract the best talents in Moldova.

Together to the next lext level!
