The husband of the woman who recently died in a beauty parlor in Chisinau has given details about the day his wife lost her life. Roman Babitschi said that his wife died before the ambulance arrived and that she had no chance to live, IPN reports.

The man told a press conference that on the morning of January 30, his wife told him that she was going to the salon. "I don't know exactly what the procedure entailed, but she told me that if she was given a total anesthesia, she would also have some operations on her face," Roman Babitschi said.

Asked by IPN whether the woman had done procedures in that salon before and whether she had asked to see the authorization to perform such a procedure, Roman Babitschi said that his wife had several procedures done in that salon and noted that the salon owner was convincing and his wife could not have suspected that she did not have the necessary authorizations.

When he arrived at the location, he saw his wife's coat and the salon manager, who was in a state of shock, with blood stains on his clothes. "They told me that they tried to save her, but they couldn't," the man recounted.

Roman Babitschi immediately went to the emergency hospital, where he learned that his wife had suffered a stroke. An acquaintance of his wife's told him that the parlor was full of blood, which made him doubt the explanations he had previously received. When he returned to the salon for answers, he bumped into one of the employees, who told him that his wife had been given Dimedrol and Alergostop. "I called the hospital to tell them, but the doctors were no longer interested. That's when I realized that my wife had died," said the victim's husband.

The man also said he called the police, but salon employees tried to block investigators' access. When he returned to the salon later, everything was already cleaned up, with no traces of blood. "Someone helped them wipe up all the evidence. The salon owner and the doctor who performed the procedure had already fled," Roman Babitschi said.

"There was a surveillance camera there, I showed the police. They said that that camera only records at night. At 20:00, when the investigations were finalized that day, the most strange thing is that the police asked the administrator when she could present the papers and she said that there were appointments in the salon. Today I am killing his wife, but tomorrow we have new clients," Roman Babitschi added.

According to the man's lawyer Oxana Ivanov, it was only on Monday, February 3, that the video recordings, including from that day, were taken.

"Attempts to cover it up persist. We still have no people in custody. If the task force had taken the necessary measures, Dr. Maniuc would probably be in custody. We will write a complaint," Babitschi's lawyer specified.

"The salon owner and the doctor knew that they didn't have the necessary documents, that's why they ran away," the victim's husband claims. He vows to do everything possible to hold the culprits accountable.

Police have opened a criminal case in the case and the authorities are still trying to establish all the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Meanwhile, the victim's family is demanding justice.
