The jackals and foxes could be hunted in an unlimited number as of August 18 this year until February 26 next year. A draft Government decision to this effect entitled “Concerning the hunting season 2018-2019” that was formulated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment was proposed for public debates, IPN reports.
The hunting of quails and pigeons will be possible between August 18 and October 14 this year, while of goose, ducks, teals and grouses between September 22 and December 30.
Wild boars could be hunted between September 29 and December 30, hares between November 25 and December 30, while pheasants between October 6 and January 13, 2019.
During the hunting season, it is banned hunting deer, mouflons, badgers, hole pigeons, partridges, all the species of birds of prey and others.
In the mainly unwooded areas managed by the hunters and fishermen’s associations of Moldova, hunting will be organized on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and on holidays, while in the areas managed by the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva” – throughout the week.
