Hundreds of personas are projected to come together with official delegations to the European Political Community Summit that will bring together about 50 heads of state and government of the EU member states. A large number of international journalists are also expected to come to the event that will take place in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district on June 1. Recently, the official website of the summit was launched and this provides information about the organizational process and the accreditation of the media, IPN reports.
“All the state institutions, of all levels, realize the value of this event. The success and pride of the Moldovans following the summit depend on everyone’s contribution. The whole world will be able to see how we are – kindhearted, open and faithful to the principles by which we abide. In other words, we are free to think, respectful towards each other and can mobilize when it goes to international events,” the Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă told a news conference.
A press tour will be organized, but details about it will be provided later. For the commodity of citizens, notices about organizational aspects will be circulated the coming weeks. On this occasion, there was created the Media Group for Securely News on the EPA Summit that is coordinated by the Ministry of the Interior. This Group will swiftly disseminate information about the security of the summit so that the citizens are informed beforehand.
“We call on everyone to mobilize and show that the Republic of Moldova is a democratic, solid state devoted to the European integration, that we have a beautiful country that succeeds together with its partners,” stated Daniel Vodă.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection drafted a decision by which June 1 is declared a day off, while June 2 is declared a nonworking day for the public sector.
