The association “Dreptul la Dreptate” (Right to Justice) has published a new investigation into the corruption ties of the former Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari with “crime lord” Vitalie Perciun.

In their video “Perciun in Plahotniuc’s mafia: Crime, tax scams, seizure of stations and construction sites in the places, there the death has happened”, investigative activists talk about a certain Vitalie Perciun, who, according to their information, was engaged in the construction of attics, was a member of Plahotniuc’s Democratic Party and organized joint ventures with relatives of Vladimir Chebotari, ex-Minister of Justice during the government of the oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc.

“Everything is here: illegal takeovers of state-owned enterprises and stolen real estate, tax evasion and the construction of restaurants in the places of mass executions of people, corruption of judges and prosecutors and connections with crime lords. And of course, the luxurious property of the new aristocracy of thieves and profiteers, acquired with the money of the people”, says the description of the investigation.

According to activists, the Chebotar-Perciun group evaded taxes by underpaying tens of millions of euros to the state budget, and the property owned by former democrats today was bought from the state at a bargain price.

Activists of the human rights association “Dreptul la Dreptate” (Right to Justice) intend to submit relevant applications to the competent authorities in order to bring to criminal responsibility members of the oligarch Plahotniuc’s group, and confiscate their property in favor of society.

“This is just the beginning... Soon we will continue to publish revelations of criminals from Plahotniuc's mafia group. Follow our releases,” the investigation says.
