Hristici village to hold snap elections

People in Hristici village, Soroca district, will elect a new mayor on November 11. A decision in this regard was adopted at Tuesday's of the Central Election Commission, Info-Prim Neo reports.
CEC head Iurie Ciocan said that the names of the mayoral candidates would be announced two months before the elections, when the electoral campaign would start.
The mayor elected in the summer of 2011 resigned because of his deteriorating health.
