Editorial offices of media outlets are invited to accredit press teams for the European Political Community (EPC) Summit as access to the Mimi Castle winery one day before and on the day of the event will be possible only with accreditation on a per-event basis, IPN reports.

The accreditation period closes on 18 May 2023 at 23:59, two weeks prior to the Summit. Journalists are strongly recommended to apply for accreditation as early as possible so as to make sure they will gain access to the event. Late accreditation cannot be granted due to security reasons. Media accreditation for the EPC Summit will be granted for a period not exceeding 25 May-6 June 2023.

To obtain accreditation, the applicant will visit www.epcsummit2023.md, the division “Registration and Accreditation”. Before applying, one needs to prepare: a scan of a valid Passport; a scan of a recent photo (*.jpg/*.jpeg, 3x4, 3); a scanned letter of confirmation from the media organization and a scan of a Press ID. The filled in form signed by the media outlet’s director will be downloaded in pdf format. Scans of the required documents need to be attached to this. (Model of accreditation form in English is available on www.epcsummit2023.md.)

After the application is submitted, the applicant will receive an email to validate the email address this provided in the form, followed by a confirmation of the accreditation request submission. A response to the accreditation request will be received within 10 days. Accredited media will receive detailed information about the specific time and location for collecting their badges and about the venue of the event several days before the Summit.

Further details about the accreditation procedure can be found here. For questions about accreditation, one can write to the email address epc.media@mfa.gov.md.
