How one can vote if vacationing abroad on election day

The Moldovan citizens who will be abroad on vacation on the election day could vote at the diplomatic mission of Moldova in the given country. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the secretary of the Central Election Commission Iurie Ciocan said that those persons need only the passport. In order to avoid multiple voting, there will be used the same safety measure as in the case of the citizens that will vote in Moldova – the stamp “Elections 29.07.09”. For the first time in Moldova, the early elections will take place on a Wednesday. July 29 was declared a nonworking day. The salaried employees will work for this day on another day.
