Housing stock in preparation for cold season

The Chisinau administration started to prepare the municipal housing stock for the future cold season. The piping systems in all the apartment buildings, except the new ones, will be cleaned. But they will be washed only in the buildings where there are problems, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Now that the heating season closed, we have other important tasks. Judging by the volume of work that is to be done, we think we will manage to do everything in time,” deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said in the May 7 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials. The head of the Public Amenities Division Petru Gontea said the roofs of apartment buildings started to be mended. Over 2,000 square meters of roofs were repaired last week.
