Household annexes will not be subject to technical inspection

Residents of Chisinau municipality are no longer obliged to perform technical inspection of the constructions lacking authorization built near private blocks of flats: depots, tool sheds, fences, garages, cellars, sanitary blocks and simple thermal stations, “made of local materials and which are not subject to examination”. Based on a Mayor’s disposal, Chisinau City Hall has annulled the requirement to perform technical examination for legalizing unauthorized constructions built in the yards of the apartment blocks. Heads of district offices and administration of Architecture and Land Relations Division, Authorisation and discipline in buildings Division, dwelling-communal Division were obliged to inform people about the new conditions of performing technical examination of the constructions built lacking authorization. The decision was taken as a result of the residents’ recommendations formulated during the meetings with the municipal administration, and also at the request of the Constructions and Territorial Development Agency that was glutted with numerous applications on the part of the municipality’s residents, requesting technical examination of the unauthorized constructions.
