Hot water charges for Chisinau residents increased

The inhabitants of Chisinau will pay 26.27 lei per cubic meter of hot water from today, May 18. The charge in the buildings that have private thermal points will be 32.84 lei per cubic meter of hot water, deputy mayor of Chisinau Vlad Cotet stated for Info-Prim Neo. Before the National Agency for Energy Regulation approved the new heat charge, the household consumers paid 22.26 lei per cubic meter of hot water, while in the buildings with private thermal points - 27.96 lei. Last week, the Agency increased the heat charge by 17.5%. A gigacalorie of heat now costs 821 lei, as against 699 lei earlier.
