“Many statements are made, but not much work is done,” Dumitru Diacov, the head of the Democratic parliamentary group, stated for Info-Prim Neo when asked to comment on the forecasts about the ‘hot autumn’. He voiced hope that the politicians will cool down and will reach an agreement in the end. “Unfortunately, the political seasons in Moldova have been hot during the last two years. They become hotter and it is not good. I hope things will calm down after a short ‘hot’ period and there will be created good living and work conditions and we will have the expected stability. ‘Hot autumn’ means many statements and not much work and progress. It is a kind of Moldovan fuss that we started to like,” said the Democrat lawmaker. He also said that the politicians should reach a consensus and create conditions for the legislative body to work in good conditions until the end of term, in a peaceful country with people who trust the persons to whom they entrusted their future. “Things can be calmed down if the politicians sit at the negotiating table and come to an understanding as the situation is already dangerous not only for the country, but also for the parties and the politicians in particular,” stated the president of honor of the Democratic Party. He said the ‘hot autumn’ will begin at the middle of September and will continue for not more than a month. Afterward, things will return to normality. Earlier, representatives of the political class said this autumn will be a ‘hot’ one.
