Horus Energy company condemns the false reports spread by some of the media outlets and informs public opinion in Moldova that it doesn’t carry out any repair works on energy block No.2, CET (thermoelectric plant) Source 1 of the joint stock company Termoelectrica. It describes the dissemination of false information as an attempt to denigrate and harm its professional reputation as part of a campaign launched last year, which is a regrettable manifestation of unfair competition.
Mihai Godea, director for development of the Horus group of companies, in a news conference hosted by IPN said the repair works on energy block No.2, CET Source 1 are performed by another company that should assume overall responsibility for this energy block. Horus executed repair and re-technologization works at the other energy blocks, No. 1 and No. 3, and everything they repaired is functional.
Mihai Godea believes that the developments at energy block No.2 look like sabotage against the energy system and even against national security. Therefore, the Ministry of Energy, the Public Property Agency, together with the administration of Termoelectrica, must analyze the state of affairs related to the performed repair works and inform the citizens about the real situation at this company.
The director for development of the Horus group of companies said that the responsible state institutions, such as the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, the Security and Intelligence Service, and the National Anticorruption Center, should turn their attention to his case and determine if those actions are not deliberate.
The company Horus Energy noted that it has solid experience on the national energy market and on foreign markets and its contribution to developing the energy sector has always been aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and at strengthening the energy security of the Republic of Moldova.
