An honorary consulate of the Republic of Moldova was officially opened in the Principality of Monaco. The announcement was made by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in France, IPN reports.
The consulate will be headed by Honorary Consul Iacopomichele Cassiano, who recently appointed to this position by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
Moldova’s Ambassador to France Corina Călugăru noted the national authorities’ interest in dynamizing and diversifying the Moldovan-Monegasque relations by realizing the potential and taking the opportunities of cooperation between the two states, materialized including by expanding the honorary consular network and appointing an honorary consul in Monaco.
The Principality of Monaco is a city-state located on the French Riviera in Western Europe, bordering the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the most populous states in the world.
