Homeless persons become victims of frost

Eight homeless persons have been found dead in Chisinau this year so far. The medical examination showed that six of them died from hypothermia, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the January 14 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, municipal police chief Silviu Musuc said that 123 homeless people were accommodated at the Shelter for the Homeless from Haltei St last week, even if the Shelter has a capacity of only 70 places. The people can stay at the shelter for the night only. Those who do not have a bed where to sleep, improvise sleeping places on chairs or on the floor. In the morning, they go back to the street.
