The City Day and the National Wine Day that will be celebrated in the centre of Chisinau simultaneously will cause considerable inconveniences to the participants in car traffic. The police also announce modifications in the itinerary of the urban passenger transport, Info-Prim Neo informs.
Ion Roscovanu, inspector of the Road Traffic Security and Public Relations Service of the Chisinau Traffic Police, told Info-Prim Neo that the road traffic will suffer modifications from October 11. The movement of vehicles through the Great National Assembly Square will be suspended today and tomorrow, between 14.00 and 19.00, due to rehearsals. The traffic will be redirected to the adjacent streets.
Ion Roscovanu says that the traffic along Stephan the Great Boulevard, on the section between Ismail and Mihai Viteazul Street, will be closed for 24 hours on October 13 and 14. The movement along Puskin and Banulescu-Bodoni Streets will depend on the flow of pedestrians. When the flow grows larger, the traffic will be closed. The same will happen on Vasile Alexandri and Serghei Lazo Streets, the cited source says.
The parking will be allowed only on Dosoftei Street, between Maria Cibotari and Banulescu-Bodoni Streets, on Banulescu-Bodoni Street, between Dosoftei and Columna Streets, on Columna Street, between Banulescu-Bodoni and Puskin Street, on Puskin Street, between Varlaam and Columna Streets, as well as on Veronica Micle, Petru Rares and Cosmonautilor Streets.
The movement along Dacia Boulevard will be halted on October 13 due to the football match Moldova-Turkey that will take place at the stadium of “Zimbru” Club. The road section between Cuza Voda Boulevard and Burebista will be closed between 20.00 and 24.00. The parking will be forbidden, including in the “pocket” parking lots on Dacia Boulevard.
