Holiday with surprises for children from boarding schools and deprived families

About 1,000 children from residential institutions and underprivileged families enjoyed games, contests, presents, ice-cream and other surprises during the Childhood’s Holiday on June 1. Svetlana Chifa, head of the Municipal Division for Child Rights Protection, has told Info-Prim Neo that the holiday held in the square before the God’s Birth Cathedral in Chisinau involved children from placement centers, family type children’s homes, and orphanages and children from deprived families living in the municipality of Chisinau. The children received ice-cream and candies and different presents from the sponsors. There were organized different interactive games and entertaining contests. “No child remained without attention,” said Svetlana Chifa. The Childhood’s Holiday has been held the tenth year in a row. About 10,000 lei was spent on organizing it. The money was collected with the help of sponsors.
