Holiday street lights in Chisinau will start to burn on December 1

The Chisinau City Hall will open the winter holidays on December 1. In Monday’s ordinary meeting of the City Hall, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said the European countries do so and Chisinau should not lag behind, Info-Prim Neo reports. The fur tree that will be set up in central Chisinau will be most probably bought from a private individual. The head of the Green Areas Association Eliferie Haruta said they are to choose between a fur tree from Chisinau and another one from Vadul lui Voda. He did not yet give details about the height and approximate price of the Christmas tree.
