H&M stores could appear in Moldova. This was discussed by Moldovan Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba and Pernilla Halldin, head of public affairs at the H&M Group, on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“There are H&M stores all over Europe, but not in Moldova. We want to be like the rest of the world”, Alaiba posted to Facebook.
Also, the minister announced the possibility of a clothing factory. “I am sure that we have room in Moldova for a clothing factory as well. The textile industry can have an interesting offer for investors like H&M, creating jobs and export potential for our country”, said the official.
Discussions on the proposed initiatives will continue in the immediate future, he added.
