The people living in the Security Zone, namely the villages Cocieri, Cosnita, Molovata Noua, Farladeni, Copanca, Dorotskaya, Parata, Varnitsa and Hagimus, will receive increased state financial assistance from July 1. A bill to this effect was approved by the Government on June 28, IPN reports.
Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said the bill provides for increasing the state monthly allowance from 200 to 900 lei for those who receive old-age pensions and pensions for the first invalidity degree; from 140 to 630 lei for those who receive pensions for the second invalidity degree, from 100 to 450 lei for those entitled to pensions for the third invalidity degree.
Starting with July 1, a monthly state allowance for women aged between 55 and 57 and men aged between 60 and 62, who on January 1 had the domicile in the mentioned settlements and who do not have pensions set by the Transnistrian authorities, will be 900 lei.
The money will be allocated from the state budget.
