The heating bills for December will be by about one-third higher than those for October, SA Termocom director Mihai Cernei announced in Monday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihai Cernei explained that the heat supplied in December reached the maximum parameters as it was colder outside. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca asked the heat supplier to submit a set of proposals and solutions to the National Agency for Energy Regulation so that the 31% rise in the price of gas imported from Russia does not affect the heating charges. Mihai Cernei said 72% of the Chisinau residents paid for the heating bills for October and November. Termocom does not have debts to Moldovagaz and RED Union Fenosa, while the debts to the thermoelectric plants CET 1 and CET 2 have been 50% settled. The heating bills for December will be distributed after January 10.
