High school students take last Baccalaureate exam

The high school leavers sit the last Baccalaureate exam on June 13. The test started at 09.00 and will end at 12.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the morning, Valentina Ceapa, adviser of the Education Ministry’s Assessment and Evaluation Agency, announced on Radio Moldova that there will be opened side three of the envelope with test papers. The students studying sciences take the exam in biology, geography, chemistry, history or informatics, while those studying humanities – in biology, history, mathematics, chemistry and physics. The other language speakers will take one more exam – in the Romanian language – on June 16. In Monday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Tatiana Botnaru, deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, said the first results of the Baccalaureate exams will be announced on June 20. About 30,000 high school students are taking Baccalaureate exams.
