High school students and university freshmen are invited to research work contest

9th to 12th form students and first year university students are invited to participate in the third edition of the Republican Contest of Research Works “Towards a Future”, which will be held in the period between January 11 and 12. Potential participants include talented students from Moldova who are willing to prove their creativity and skills. The contest covers a wide range of topics: exact sciences, natural science, engineering, social sciences and humanities. The man purpose of the event is to attract students in research activities and to identify, stimulate and support young talents. The deadline for sending applications is December 20. Participants will have to present paper and electronic versions of their research work and a participation request. Students are invited to submit their papers to the “Spre Viitor” (“Towards a Future”) Public Association, in ”Gh. Asachi” Theoretic Lyceum. The submitted documents should represent up to 10 pages and 10 annexes. A person can be the author or co-author of a single research work. The work’s topic should represent an extension of the school programme or of the extracurricular programme. The authors of the works selected for the second stage (public presentation), will be announced before January 7. As part of the contest, organisers will create personal and group exhibitions of the works that were not selected for public presentation. The contest is organised at the initiative of the “Spre Viitor” Public Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Youth, in collaboration with the Moldova State University, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, “Ion Creanga” State Pedagogical University, Chisinau General Division on Education and Science as well as the NGOs from Moldova.
