Some 50 Moldovan military are engaged in removing the consequences of the floods in the country's north, in Rascani district. The Army also deployed 13 special vehicles.
According to colonel Igor Cutie, the ad interim chief of Staff, till 11.00, they evacuated 870 civilians, from which 220 children and 7 disabled. The soldiers have also rescued 450 cows.
Starting from 14.00, 16 military on 3 helicopters patrol Braniste village.
