Children of the kindergarten-primary school “Ilie Fulga” of Stauceni have their own helicopter. The plane was bought with local budget funds and was set up on the school’s territory for educational proposes. The school’s principal Margareta Simiretskii has told IPN that the kids expressed enthusiasm for the idea of having the own helicopter that they can anytime examine.
“The helicopter was purchased for educational purposes and to arouse the children’s interest in the kindergarten. The children will be able to enter the helicopter under the supervision of educators,” stated Margareta Simiretskii.
Mayor of Stauceni Valentin Sytnic said the local council allocated 73,000 lei for buying the plane. This is not functional and was bought from a business entity. The goal was to motivate the children to come to the kindergarten.
