There is heavy traffic at a number of border crossing points when leaving the Republic of Moldova and the waiting time at these points increased as a result. Also, the customs systems work with minor interruptions owing to a technical glitch, IPN reports, quoting the Border Police.
According to a press release, the Border Police and the Customs Service are taking all the measures to fluidize transfrontier traffic, such as increasing of the number of employees, opening of all the movement arteries, informing of citizens about the created situation.
The Border Police call on the participants in crossborder traffic to plan the route before setting off and to use the border crossing points with less heavy traffic.
