A large flow of people and vehicles was reported at midday at a number of border crossing points. The traffic at Palanca–Maiaki-Udobnoe border crossing point is the heaviest. The row of vehicles there, on the Ukrainian side, is up to 3 km/200 pedestrians long, IPN reports.
The row at the Tudora – Starokazacie border crossing point consists of about 100 vehicles on the Ukrainian side, at the Basarabeasca – Serpniovo border crossing point – of about 150 vehicles, while at the Giurgiulești – Reni border crossing point – of about 40 vehicles.
When leaving the Republic of Moldova, the traffic is heavier at the Cahul – Oancea, Sculeni – Sculeni, Leușeni –Albița, Giurgiulești – Galați, and Lipcani – Rădăuți-Prut border crossing points.
To avoid causing crowdedness at some of the frontier posts, the travelers are urged to use the border crossing points Vulcănești, Mirnoe, Ceadâr-Lunga 1/2, Larga, Briceni, Ocnița, Criva, Otaci, and Costești.
