Heavy snowfalls and blizzard have damaged several villages in Cimislia

The villages of Ialpujeni, Marienfeld, and Lipoveni in Cimislia raion have been left in blackout for almost a week, as a result of heavy snowfalls and strong wind registered on the night of January 3 to 4, which downed high tension power lines and blocked the access to these settlements, Radio Media in Cimislia reports, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. As the mayor of Ialpujeni village, Vitalie Burduh states, only a sector in Ialpujeni is still lacking electricity. The residents of Marienfeld and the other part of Ialpujeni are already supplied with the electricity. The local roads were cleaned using own forces in order to have access to the central road. On January 10, there was only a village in Cimislia raion entirely lacking electricity - Iurevca village.
