Heavy rains expected tonight

The State Hydro-meteorological Service announced that heavy rains with thunders are expected on the territory of Moldova on the evening of August 21, with wind speeds reaching 20-25 meters per second.
According to the meteorologists, on August 22 the increase of the water level could reach 0,5-1 meters, and in certain regions this could cause floods that might endanger houses situated near the water sources.
The economic agents that posses lakes are warned to pay attention to the water levels.
The maximum air temperature in Chisinau and in the central and southern regions on August 21 reached 33°C.
