The State Weather Service today issued a code-yellow heatwave advisory for August 14-16. During this three-day period, highs will be around 33-34 degrees Celsius, especially in the central and southern districts.
On Thursday, August 16, the northern part of the country will experience thunderstorms that will continue until Sunday. The showers are expected to extend to the central part, too, by Saturday and continue on Sunday as well.
