The municipality opened the 2013-2014 heating season for all the end-users of Chisinau. An order to this effect was made by Mayor General of Chisinau municipality Dorin Chirtoaca on November 12, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the City Hall, all the consumers will be connected to the heat supply during 4-5 days. The persons whose dwellings will not be heated sufficiently are urged to inform the housing stock managers.
The families on monthly incomes of under 1,700 lei per member receive cold-month allowances from the Chisinau administration. The allowances represent 40% of the monthly heat bill.
The heating season for schools and kindergartens in Chisinau began on October 1, 2013.
