Heat in the municipality of Chisinau will be supplied for at least one more week. Deputy mayor of Chisinau Vlad Cotet, in the March 21 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, said heat will continue to be supplied because low temperatures were forecast for the next few days, IPN reports.
Vlad Cotet anticipates that the summer heating regime could be instituted next week, but it depends on the weather conditions. When the daytime temperatures reach +11 or +13 degrees Celsius, the block’s manager can interrupt the supply of heat at the request of dwellers.
The deputy mayor noted that the persons responsible for the disconnection of heat must coordinate the actions with the heat supplier so as to avoid hydraulic shocks.
Last year the heating season was closed on April 10.
