The heating season in the municipality of Chisinau will be launched on October 22, as an order signed on October 19 provides. The decision was taken after the temperatures between 6pm and 6am during three consecutive days varied around +10 degrees Celsius, IPN reports.
All the 132 kindergartens in Chisinau were connected to the centralized heating system. Out of the 27 kindergartens situated in suburban settlements, ten are supplied with heat, while the rest are to be connected to the heat supply in the immediate period.
Fifty-three schools are also supplied with heat, while the rest of the schools will be connected when the principals ask for this, depending on the temperatures inside each education institution.
Also, 22 municipal medical institutions of 64 have been connected to the centralized heating system so far.
