Meteorologists have issued a yellow advisory for high temperatures. Daytime temperatures on Friday are expected to rise to 33 degrees Celsius and above, IPN reports.

The State Weather Service said that the warning is valid for the period between June 28 and July 4.

In connection with the high temperatures, the Chisinau City Hall ordered to set up mobile points in the capital city for the people to drink water and hide from the sun there. If necessary, they will be given medical assistance.

In order to prevent the exacerbation of chronic diseases and to avoid sunstroke, the population is advised to limit the duration of walks between 10:00 and 18:00, to consume as much water as possible and to wear clothes made of natural and light fibers. Adults are warned to continuously supervise children and never to leave them locked inside cars, even when they think they will be absent for a short period of time.
