The Chisinau heat supplier SA Termocom informed about three new cases of illegal consumption of hot water from the centralized system. Earlier, the owners of these apartments asked to be disconnected from the heat supply and thus weren’t charged, IPN reports.
In a communiqué, Termocom says that the three apartments are located at 9 Calea Iesilor St, 66 Ion Creanga St, and 20 Porumbescu St. The managers of these blocks were issued with prescriptions with a view to penalizing the apartment owners in accordance with the legislation.
Under a Government decision, the charge for the illegally consumed volume of water is five times higher than the tariff used when the illegality was discovered.
