A heat main in Buiucani district of Chisinau, which is about 1.8 km long, will be modernized. The project envisions the replacement of pipes that are over 30 years old with new pipes that will enable to reduce the losses of heat over three times and to exclude the risk of accidents in the network during the next 25 years, IPN reports, quoting a press release of Termoelectrica.
In connection with the repair works, parts of the streets Milano, Taranii, Trei Crai, Drumul Crucii, Bariera Sculeni, and Calarasi will be closed to traffic between June 24 and September 15.
The works form part of the Contract C 1.4 of the municipal energy efficiency project SACET that is financed by the World Bank.
