SA Termocom calls on those who have debts for heat to go to the district head’s offices and pay them. Otherwise, they will face heavy fines and can be even sued, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué, besides the civil lawsuits filed for forcedly collecting the debts, the consumers with debts risk paying fines of 4,000 to 20,000 lei or 30 hours of community service, in the case of private individuals, and fines of 40,000 to 120,000 lei and 30 to 60 hours of community service, in the case of legal entities The reports on the persons and companies with debts are examined by the administrative commissions of the district head’s offices every Thursday. The commissions impose fines in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences, when those with debts refuse to pay them, or draw up debt rescheduling timetables. SA Termocom informs that 4,477 debt rescheduling timetables were agreed during June 1-11, after the number of employees involved in the forced collection of debts was increased. As many as 10,629 apartment owners pledged to pay the debts in installments. The heat supplier hopes the indebted persons and companies will be responsible and it will not have to resort to drastic measures such as the imposition of fines, filing of lawsuits and confiscation of property.
