The thermal energy supplied to consumers in Balti municipality will be cheaper. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) on Tuesday approved a 19% reduction in the heat charge for consumers served by JSC CET-Nord, IPN reports.
According to the Agency’s decision, the charge will be 1,819 lei/Gcal (excluding VAT), down by 426 lei/Gcal.
Also, a new charge for the electricity produced by CET-Nord was approved. This is 2.56 lei/kWh (excluding VAT), compared to the current charge of 2.76 lei/kWh (excluding VAT).
The new charges take effect on the date of publication of the NAER decision in the Official Gazette.
