Heat bills for January by 20% higher

The residents of Chisinau municipality will pay for the heat supplied in January by about 20% more on a month before. The head of the municipal company Infocom Ion Margineanu Monday said the heat bills are higher because it was colder, Info-Prim Neo reports.
For the heat supplied in December, the end-users paid 25 lei per square meter on average, while in January – already 30 lei.
According to Infocom, 55% of the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality for December paid heat bills of up to 1 000 lei, 30% - of up to 1 500 lei, 11% - of up to 2,000 lei, while the rest – of over 2 000 lei.
