Health workers protest in Vulcanesti

Doctors and medical assistants from Vulcanesti will stage protests on March 4 and 5 because they haven’t been paid salaries for several months. The information was confirmed by the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova for Info-Prim Neo. The health workers say the doctors haven’t received salaries for three months, while the nurses and auxiliary personnel for two months. The protest will take place in front of the Vulcanesti mayor’s office starting at 1pm, during lunchtime, so that the work of the medical institutions is not disrupted. More than 100 persons are expected to take part in the protest.
