The persons who insure themselves individually can pay the mandatory health insurance policy in fixed sum for 2017 as of December 27, 2016, IPN reports, quoting the National Health Insurance Company.
Thus, until March 31, 2017, the applicants benefit from 50% discounts off the price of health policy that remained at the same level as last year – 4,056 lei. The owners of farmland benefit from 75% discounts and pay 1,014 lei at the local offices of the Company.
For their part, the founders of individual companies, lessees, lessors and other people who are not employed and are not insured by the Government will pay 2,028 lei, which is 50% of the price of health policy.
The payments can be made at the offices of Moldova’s Post Office and the local offices of the National Health Insurance Company.
The notaries, lawyers, bailiffs and mediators will pay the full price of the policy, which is 4,056 lei.
After March 31, those who will not buy a health policy will pay the full price of the policy with fine and penalty. The policy becomes operational in seven days of the payment.
