Minister of Health Ruxanda Glavan and director of the Medicine Agency Vladislav Zara were penalized by being warned for not fulfilling the plan of action for improving the situation concerning the supply of medicines to health facilities, IPN reports.
The plan of action, which was discussed with heads of drugstores, was approved by the Government this March. It includes 41 measures, 21 of which were to be implemented by July 1. Prime Minister Pavel Filip said only 5 of the 21 measures were carried out, which shows an irresponsible attitude on the part of the officials.
The Premier warned the two that no more warnings will follow and those who cannot cope with the assumed tasks should vacate the seats for other persons who will be able to identify the appropriate solutions expected by patients.
