Head of Judges Accreditation College elected

Svetlana Filincova, a judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, was named as chairwoman of the Judges Accreditation College of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources in the Council. Tatiana Vazdoaga, a lecturer at the State University of Moldova, became vice chairwoman. At Tuesday's meeting of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, Nicolae Rosca, who is also a lecturer of the State University of Moldova, was elected as chairman of the Disciplinary College of Judges, while Tatiana Raducanu, a judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, as vice chairwoman. The Accreditation College examines the candidates applying for the post of judge, organizes exams for them and accredits them. The Disciplinary College deals with cases concerning the behavior of judges and takes decisions to annul the disciplinary punishment when necessary.
