Nicolae Eremia, doctor in agricultural sciences, professor at the Agricultural University, is the winner of the award of the Government of the Republic of Moldova - Outstanding inventor, worth 10 thousand lei. Nicolae Eremia was granted the award for his inventions in beekeeping.
Asked by IPN, Nicolae Eremia has said that his inventions stimulate the resistance of bee families after winter. According to the professor, in some years after winter the population of bee families is reduced by 20-40%, because the bees are weak. Based on the research he has conducted, a natural bioregulator has been created with which bee feed is supplemented to increase the bees’ resistance.
Nicolae Eremia mentions that the obtained title represents a summing up of the results he has achieved over several years, which were dedicated to the development of the beekeeping field, technologies for obtaining bee products and their use. The professor has a total of over 42 patents for inventions in animal husbandry, beekeeping and veterinary medicine obtained in the Republic of Moldova, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
The prize was given during the award ceremony of the winners of "Infoinvent" International Specialized Exhibition, which took place on November 20-23.
