The persons who commit minor offenses will be able to pay half of the set fine within three workdays of the day the fine imposition decision becomes executory.
The Cabinet approved a relevant amendment to the Penal Code. Half of the fine can now be paid within 72 hours, IPN reports.
The Cabinet held that the legislative initiative is rational as the period given for paying the fine should be synchronized with the working program of the institutions responsible for collecting this.
