Hail damages dozens of hectares of crops

The torrential rain with hail ruined dozens of hectares of crops in four districts of the country the previous days. Diana Turcanu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the rain lasted for about 20 minutes, but managed to spoil many fields. Over 90 hectares of crops were damaged in Cioresti, Nisporeni, and about 72 hectares in Enichioi, Cantemir. The hail also ruined crops in Isnovat, Rascova, and Hartopul Mare of Criuleni district and in Costesti, Alexandresti, and Saptebani of Rascani district. The damage caused if being assessed by local commissions for emergencies.
