Guns were fired this morning in the direction of Cobasna village of Rîbnița district from the Ukrainian side, the de facto ministry of the interior of Tiraspol has said. There is no information about victims, IPN reports.
According to the quoted source, a number of drones were noticed above Cobasna village last night. The aerial vehicles on the Transnistrian territory were launched from the direction of Ukraine.
About 20,000 tonnes of arms and munitions of the former 14th Army and a part of the armament evacuated in the 1990s by the Soviet army from the former German Democratic Republic and Czechoslovakia are stored at the ammunition depot in Cobasna. The negotiations on the disposal of those munitions and the treaties signed with Russian officials in this regard haven’t produced results.
