A man was arrested after he threated a driver in traffic with a gun, being offended by the latter’s remarks. During the arrest, the 38-yar-old man put up resistance and threatened the patrolling inspectors with the gun too, IPN reports.
According to the General Patrolling Inspectorate, the police were alerted by a driver aged 22, who said that during a quarrel with another driver in Sangera town, the latter took out a pistol and fired two shots in the air.
The aggressor was identified not far from the Chisinau International Airport. The police ordered that he stop, but he didn’t comply. Ultimately the man was arrested. The police established that the man held the pistol legally, but he will be investigated for hooliganism and faces up to three years in jail.
