An individual threatened with a gun an employee of the Chisinau Northern Bus Station in the evening of January 11. The man aged 27 turned out to be from Straseni district. Called to the spot, the police seized the man’s gun that was kept legally, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, when the police arrived, the young man got onto his “Mercedes” car and closed the doors. Afterward, he was taken out by force and handcuffed.
The police are to determine all the circumstances of this incident. It’s not excluded that the man will be subject to a mental status examination.
The young man will stay under arrest at the remand center of the Chisinau Police Division for 72 hours. He faces a jail term for hooliganism.
