A team of media editors, advertisers and clients is intent to create an office auditing circulation. It;s conceived as non-profit organization to offer advertisers audience reports, Info-Prim Neo reports. “This structure is to make the written press transparent, offering the opportunity to attract a bigger number of advertisers. It's necessary that the media publishers learn how to make money from ads,” Nadine Gogu from the Independent Journalism Center told a news conference on Friday. “We don't post ads in newspapers wince we're not aware of their circulation. Most of the advertising goes to broadcasters. There will only benefits, if there was a circulation auditing office,” Orange company's spokeswoman Victoria Musteata said. The fees are proposed to be at least $500 annually. The fee is $600 in Hungary, said an official of the similar office in Hungary, Liviu Burlacu, coming to back the idea. “The more organizations willing to support this entity, the less the fee will be,” he said. The initiative committee is formed of 9 press publishers, 5 advertising agencies and 2 ad consumers.
